CollabNest is a collaboration platform where developers, designers, and creators can post project ideas, find skilled collaborators, and build meaningful products together. It's designed specifically for students and early-career professionals who want real-world project experience.

Yes — completely and always free. There are no premium tiers, no credits to buy, and no hidden fees. Every feature on the platform is available to every registered user at zero cost.

Anyone! Whether you're a student, a bootcamp graduate, a freelance developer, or a professional looking for interesting side projects — CollabNest is open to all skill levels and backgrounds.

Projects

Once you're logged in, click "Post Project" in the navbar. Fill in your project title, description, required skills, and tech stack. The more detail you provide, the better your chances of attracting the right collaborators.

There's no limit. Post as many projects as you like. We encourage you to keep them up to date — mark projects as complete or closed when you've found your team.

Absolutely. Browse all open projects and apply to as many as interest you. We recommend writing a personalised note for each application — project owners appreciate the extra effort.

Account & Profile

Fill in every section of your profile — your bio, skills, portfolio links, and social profiles. A complete profile gets significantly more attention from project owners.

Yes. Head to Account → Edit Profile at any time. Keep your skills and portfolio links updated as you grow.

You can request account deletion by contacting us. We'll remove all your data within 48 hours in compliance with our privacy policy.

Safety & Trust

We rely on transparent profiles and community standards. Projects that are vague or misleading can be reported. Our team reviews flagged projects and takes appropriate action.

Project owners can remove collaborators from their project at any time. We recommend setting clear expectations and milestones at the start of every collaboration.
